00:20the Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Richard Bachman and Puerto Princesa City Mayor Lucilo Bayron
00:26have agreed to hold the Batang Pinoy in the city from Nov. 23 to Nov. 28, 2024.
00:33PSC Chairman Bachman explained that the primary goal of Batang Pinoy
00:38is for the National Sports Association to scout athletes who could be counted in the national team in various fields.
00:48More than 11,600 athletes from various cities and provinces in the country
00:54are being scouted in the so-called National Games, according to the Philippine Sports Commission.
01:01Mayor Bayron said that such a big sports event could give a boost to the economy of the city.
