Bridgnorth Ghost Book Launches by Author Clive Gwilt

00:00I'm Clive Gwilt. I was born in Bridgnorth in 1958 and since the age of five I've loved the history

00:06of the town. In fact my first book was published in 1981 which was a visitor's guide for Bridgnorth.

00:16Today I'm actually promoting Bridgnorth Ghost Book which has 44 haunted establishments from

00:24all around the town and basically you can walk to most of them and read all about these spooks

00:30in the town. At the moment I'm not sure what my next book will be. I'm waiting for ideas

00:38but I've got a whole wardrobe full of historical facts and about 50 folders

00:45all in order. Up to date I've published over I would say over 40 booklets some specifically for

00:54companies or charities but mainly just for school children, little leaflets and more recently big

01:03thick books. My thickest one was my last book which was every single date I have found in the town

01:10since I was about five. Currently we're in Urban Angel and the owner of the shop

01:18does sell me books in here. It's a lovely little shop with a beautiful cafe at the rear

01:24she's asked me to pop along to do a book signing. Then after here at about half ten I'm popping

01:31over to Booker which is our new bookshop in the town which we desperately needed as

01:38we've never had a bookshop for several years.
