00:00The PNP and other government agencies are preparing for the upcoming Undas.

00:06The PNP will release the guidelines for what can be used in the cemeteries this week.

00:22Manila North Cemetery is one of the many cemeteries being built here in Manila.

00:27That is why the authorities are preparing for a safe and proper Undas.

00:3414 police stations in Manila will help in placing the checkpoints,

00:39especially around the cemeteries of Manila North Cemetery.

00:43We have a skeletal deployment that will happen from October 27 to October 29.

00:50And when we reach October 30 to November 4, we will have a full deployment.

00:57We have four cemeteries being guarded here in the city of Manila.

01:01This is Manila North, Manila South, Chinatown, and Calaloma.

01:06The PNP is cooperating with several agencies, including MMDA and Manila CDRRMO,

01:13to ensure a safe and proper Undas.

01:17According to the Manila Police District,

01:19they will be posting advisory notices this week

01:23on what items are allowed and prohibited from being placed in cemeteries here in Manila

01:28and where vehicles may park.

01:32Aside from this, the Manila Police District is also strictly monitoring the transport hubs.

01:37Meanwhile, a free cremation of the Tugatog Public Cemetery in Malabon was held last Saturday.

01:43Malabon City Mayor Ginny Sandoval was the first to hold the last opening of the redeveloped cemetery.

01:49According to the City Department's Sanitation Division,

01:52more than 500 people attended the free cremation.

02:02Audrey, as of now, the number of people here in Manila North Cemetery has not decreased.

02:06But it is expected that more and more people will visit the cemeteries this weekend.
