00:00My name's Steph Barber. I've just opened Barber's Beauty Boss here down in Waterlooville

00:04with the vacant scheme as well and we've been open for about a month and a half. It's going

00:09really really well and it's nice to see everybody sort of wandering down and coming into the shop

00:13so come along and have a look. Perfect, obviously all the scaffolding's down there so it's starting

00:17to look nice. Yeah it's lovely. Is that one of the reasons kind of you wanted to come here as

00:22well obviously with the plans? Yeah I think it's nice and fresh and yeah it's good to have people

00:27wandering around as well definitely. Perfect and I'm right in thinking you've had this place,

00:32well Barber's Beauty Boss has been something you've had for a while. Yeah I've worked from

00:36home so I've had the business for about three years now so it's just got a bit too small so

00:41moved to a big shop. Perfect and you're the first shop to open part of the haven't vacant scheme.

00:48So yeah is that again was that something that you, did you initially apply originally? Yeah I did

00:52want to sort of open up fairly soon so I went with the vacant scheme and yeah we just wanted

00:59to sort of get open quickly and it was it wasn't easy but it was yeah it was a lot of help from

01:04the council which was brilliant. Perfect thank you very much and yeah so have you seen much

01:08footfall recently? Yeah a lot I think since the scaffolding has come down as well I think a lot

01:13of people have been sort of wandering past we've always got people coming into the shop as well
