00:00The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, or PhilHealth, has expanded its health care

00:05benefits in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s goal to strengthen the country's

00:10health care system.

00:12PhilHealth announced higher case rates for treatments like pneumonia, asthma, stroke,

00:19and hemodialysis.

00:20By 2025, it's planned to extend support for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

00:26Additionally, PhilHealth launched the Outpatient Therapeutic Care Package for Severe Acute

00:32Malnutrition, a first in Asia-Pacific, and expanded its consulta program, offering free

00:38consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines.

00:42Despite the expanded benefits, PhilHealth assured its financial stability.

00:47PhilHealth has a lot of funds.

00:52It's been more than 10 years that the case packages of PhilHealth have been enhanced.
