00:00PhilHealth raised the hemodialysis benefit from 4,000 pesos to 6,350 pesos per session,

00:08totaling nearly a million pesos in annual support for patients.

00:12This benefit applies to members with stage 5 chronic kidney disease at accredited facilities.

00:18PhilHealth President Emanuel Ledesma Jr. highlighted that the goal to eliminate

00:23out-of-pocket costs for basic dialysis services. With the new rate, patients can receive up to

00:29990,600 pesos per year. Basic services include necessary medication and supplies,

00:36while extra services may incur a copayment. This change offers renewed hope for dialysis patients.
