00:05on Monday. A 30-year-old man has since been charged after a ram-raid on Whittle's Jewellers
00:10in Fishergate on Monday evening around 5.30pm. The ram-raid caused extensive damage to the
00:16jewellery store but fortunately no one was injured and no items were reported stolen.
00:20In the following footage, the van can be seen smashing through the windows of the jewellery
00:25store before what appears to be a security guard or a brave member of the public stands
00:30in the way of the van and refuses to move, forcing the would-be burglar robber to flee
00:38in his van away from the scene. This is the footage that has come to light. Take a look
