00:00The illegal drugs campaign of the Marcus Jr. administration is a much less gory campaign

00:05and yet just as effective as his predecessor's program, which was his centerpiece platform

00:11of government.

00:12In September alone, the Drug Enforcement Group of the PNP posted illegal drug seizures worth

00:17over three quarters of a billion or 800 million pesos.

00:22In a statement earlier today, PNP Drug Enforcement Group Chief Brigadier General Eleazar Mata

00:28said September's narcotics haul was a result of 57 operations that included 38 sting and

00:34or by bus setups, four search warrant activities, one weed eradication mission, 13 arrest warrants

00:41served and 77 personalities or suspects put on record.

00:47The illegal merchandise haul of 116.9 kilos of crystal meth, otherwise known as shabu,

00:5322,000 fully grown marijuana plants and approximately 7.5 grams of marijuana seeds, dried weed and

01:01high-grade kush, all worth 799.3 million.

01:06The PDAG chief commended his officers and operatives for their dedication to their mission

01:11and asserted his men remain steadfast to protecting the public and eliminating the scourge of

01:16illegal drugs.
