00:00The Department of Health or DOH will neither implement border control community quarantine

00:04lockdowns nor will it require the use of face masks or face shields despite the new cases

00:10of mpox clade 2 in the country.

00:13In a meeting between the DOH and the Interagency Task Force for the Management of Emerging

00:18Infectious Diseases, the country has maintained a zero fatality rate from mpox despite community

00:24transmission and 9 cases from 2022 have also recovered while 14 active cases are recovering

00:31in their respective homes.

00:33The DOH assured the public there is no need to fear mpox as the department has sufficient

00:38knowledge on how to treat and prevent its spread.

00:41So our warning is, what is the risk?

00:45How will you get it?

00:47We don't need vaccines.

00:49We're on top of the situation.

00:51And I don't want measures that are overkill to this disease.
