The daughter of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, saying her father's life "crumbled" because of his association with former President Donald Trump.

00:11Caroline Giuliani told Vanity Fair, quote,
00:14not to disregard individual accountability in the slightest,
00:18but it would be naive for us to ignore the fact that many of those closest to Trump
00:22have descended into catastrophic downward spirals.
00:26She warned readers, quote,
00:27if we let Trump back into the driver's seat this fall, our country will be no exception.
00:33The Hill notes this isn't the first time
00:35Caroline Giuliani has backed a Democrat for president over Trump.
00:39In 2016, she also reportedly supported the Democratic presidential nominee,
00:44Hillary Clinton, saying on Facebook that she was, quote, pro-Hillary all along.
