00:0055 children were rescued from welfare homes managed by Global Ikhwan Services and Business

00:08Holdings in Perak yesterday.

00:11Perak Menteri Bersah Sarani Mohamad said this, adding that the children aged 12 and below

00:16have been placed under the care of the Social Welfare Department.

00:21Sarani also said he has asked the Perak Islamic Religious Department Director Harif Fazila

00:26Abdul Halim to prepare a report on its investigations into JISBH.

00:33Once the report is ready, he said he would seek an audience with Perak's Sultan Nazrin

00:37Shah, who chairs the National Council of Islamic Religious Affairs.

00:43Any decision for Perak to declare the teachings and beliefs of JISBH as deviant, as has been

00:49done in states like Perlis, will follow the rulings of the National Fatwa Council, he

00:53said.
