Morrisons reports continued 'good sales momentum' over third quarter

Bradford-based Morrisons has today updated investors on its third quarter trading performance. Total sales, excluding fuel were £3.9 billion, up by 2.1 per cent.

00:12has provided an update on its third quarter trading performance. In the third quarter,

00:19total sales, excluding fuel, were £3.9 billion, an increase of 2.1%. A further 50 goods were

00:28added to the Aldi and Lidl price match, bringing the total to almost £300. There's also been

00:34significant investment in the Morrisons more card in August and September, with the launch

00:39of a rolling programme and more than 2,000 more card prices. My name's Greg Wright. I'm
