00:14If there is an overpopulation of these large mammals, you can have extensive damage to

00:24This means that other animals, or smaller animals, don't actually have the habitat that

00:34What choices do we have when the elephant population gets too high?
00:43You can either have a culling program, or you can move the animals.
00:54As I stand here and I look at these elephants, they represent just a tiny piece of the two
00:59and a half thousand elephant population that's actually on this property at Savi Valley Conservancy.
01:04And those two and a half thousand elephant, that's enough elephant that they're able to
01:08take a hundred of these individuals and translocate them beyond their boundaries to repopulate
01:14other parts of Africa.
