00:08research there's expectation as the lion's numbers go up they'll actually

00:39At the introduction of the lions they're eating warthog all the time so it's a small prey species

00:45and while they're abundant and easy to catch vines will be doing that but as prides get

00:51bigger we expect them to start taking bigger prey like the buffalo and the sable.

01:03Without the apex predator you're missing a key link in the whole trophic pyramid which

01:10is the basis of the biodiversity of an area.

01:13It's going to be fascinating to see this change of proportions in communities.
