03:39The sound in the crowd
03:41Jamaica Kingsmen earned a comprehensive 51 run win against Senkits and Nevis Patriots on Tuesday night
03:47To make it two wins in a row following three straight losses
03:50After the game, Jamaica Kingsmen skipper Rovman Powell lauded his players for their efforts
03:56To be honest, it means everything
03:57You know, it's been a rocky start to the campaign
04:00You know, so it's good to get back-to-back victories
04:03You know, credit have to be given to the guys
04:05To how they stick through the tough times
04:07You know, even though it's not over
04:08But you know, they stick through the tough times and they reap the reward now
04:12Powell also praised man of the match Kimo Paul for his all-round performance
04:16Paul made a swashbuckling 65 and then took three wickets in the victory
04:21Yeah, he was fantastic, you know, when he came into the camp
04:24He was just chomping at the bits, ready to go
04:26You know, his career has meandered
04:29And hopefully this is a start for him to get back his career on the right track
04:33With this being the end of the Jamaica leg
04:35The Kingsmen will continue playing outside their home
04:38And Powell is hoping his team can build on the foundations set at Sabina Park
04:42I think it's for us to sit and have those little discussions, you know
04:47Every venue around the Caribbean will ask something different of us
04:51And it's for us to just sit down and come up with our plans, you know
04:54The guys are in a good frame of mind
04:56And let me see how much we can stretch this winning streak
04:59St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots skipper Jason Holder said his team did well with white leather in hand
05:04But he was disappointed by the display of the Willow Wielders
05:07As I said before, at the halfway stage, I was pretty pleased with the bowling effort
05:10You know, you expect one or two balls to go to the boundary at the back end
05:14But I think for the most part, the bowlers were spot on
05:16You know, when we batted, we just never got off to a really good start
05:18And we never had momentum going through the innings
05:20Yeah, well, we've got some games coming up, you know
05:22We've got our home leg coming up, you know
05:23We've got one game in another day or two
05:25So for us, it's just getting some consistent cricket, you know
05:28Finalizing our combinations, understanding the way we need to improve
05:31The Jamaica Kingsmen jump to second with a win
05:34While the Patriots are last
