00:00I was a movie fan at heart. At my young age, I was listening to a lot of the radio drama serial.

00:19pa yun. I would listen to the operetang putul-putul of Nora Onor and Tears Across the Third. I was a

00:25great fan. Oh, my God, an avid fan of Guy and Pip. And I would buy the showbiz magazines,

00:33collect their photos. We would go to the theater also every Saturday when my father would do the

00:38rounds of the patients in town. Kasi kami, nandod kami sa my hospital compound. So my father would

00:45go to town every Saturday to visit his patients, and he would leave us in the theater. I read up

00:52on a lot of the stars from Amalia Fuentes, Gloria Romero, Susan Rosas, Nida Blanca. I watched the

00:59movies in the afternoon kasi may Aninong Gumagalaw that was an old LVN and Sampaguita and premier

01:06movies. So from radio, when television came into being, I was glued naman to the television set.
