00:00I remember my mom was telling me when I was a baby, one of the first few words I mentioned
00:07was vroom vroom.
00:18When I was 10, I was really fond of cars.
00:24If I recall it right, that was my fondest memory because it was my first time.
00:30To ride in the driver's seat, and eventually at 12, it was the first time I started a car.
00:43Our family revolved around cars.
00:47My dad was a car collector and a restorer, so it was really in the genes, if I may say,
00:55that I inherited through my father.
00:57That, until now, I still enjoy driving fast cars and restoring ones.
01:08Well, my first car, it's a 1976 Toyota Corolla KE30.
01:13It was given to me by my father when I was, I think, second-year high school.
01:17It was rusted, a rusted car.
01:19But that was the moment I realized that this is it.
01:23It's finally my turn to have my own car.
01:31Well, probably if you come and see my garage, it's a mixed variety of cars that I have.
01:37I have a car which I enjoy driving every day.
01:42I have a car which I enjoy doing adventures with it.
01:45I have a car which I can enjoy and have quality time with my family.
01:50So, it's a mixed variety of cars that I have inside my garage.
01:59Of course, when I'm driving on public roads, I shouldn't still be doing what's right in driving.
02:05But in rallying, you go flat out because it's a controlled chaos, which I cannot do it on the public
02:12roads.
02:17The foundation of AAP was really to two things.
02:21Number one is road safety and motorsport.
02:25So, when you ask people whose AAP is not about towing, it's not about the commercial business aspect of it.
02:31It's about two things that right now, we're trying our best to instill road safety to our motoring public.
02:39We're doing different programs, grassroots programs to entice more new drivers to get into the sport.
02:46So, probably that will be the only way that AAP should be going and making sure that it happens.
03:00Well, like what I always say in my interviews, it's all about enforcement.
03:05It's all about discipline on the road.
03:07It's really us who will have to make a difference for us to be a world-class motoring driving country.
03:16So, we should start from us.
03:20I want to try a little bit more.
03:21We'll see you in a little bit.
03:22We'll see you in a little bit.
03:24We'll see you in a little bit.
03:31You'll check out the video.
