00:00Police raided three houses in Kampung Panji, Kelantan, and seized dozens of books related

00:08to the teachings and doctrines of GISB Sendirian Berhad along a riverbank in the area on Saturday.

00:15The books were found buried along the riverbank, believed to have been concealed after the

00:20arrest of the GISB CEO on Thursday.

00:24Some of the books were already burnt.

00:26The operation also involved officers from the Social Welfare Department and Kelantan

00:30Islamic Religious Affairs Department.

00:33The houses are believed to be resided by families of the senior management of the GISB group.

00:39Police said they found about 30 people, including the GISB CEO's second wife, in the houses

00:46along with more than 20 children.

00:49It is learnt that the GISB group members have been staying at the houses for decades with

00:54a high turnover of occupants.

00:56The raids were part of a nationwide operation to investigate allegations that GISB was involved

01:02in child abuse and sexual crimes.
