Police are awaiting further instructions from the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) on possible charges over the commotion that erupted during an eviction operation in Kampung Sungai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, on Sept 11.

City police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said on Friday (Oct 3) that investigators are waiting to know if charges will be filed under Sections 353, 186, or 324 of the Penal Code, which relate to assaulting public servants, obstructing them from carrying out their duties, and voluntarily causing hurt.
