00:10Yesterday, around 4pm, we received a call from the Ministry of Health, informing us

00:16of the imminent arrival of a large number of patients following the explosions in Lebanon.

00:22The entire staff, from nurses to the medical team and administration, showed exemplary

00:26professionalism and great responsibility.

00:30Within minutes, they were all at the hospital, ready to handle the situation.

00:34We had to manage not only the patients, but also their families, who were deeply affected.

00:44At the entrance to the intensive care unit, devastated families still in shock.

00:51This man has just undergone facial surgery.

01:00This patient was admitted yesterday with extremely severe eye injuries.

01:04He lost both of his eyes and consequently his sight.

01:12Other patients had injuries to their faces and hands.

01:16We did everything in our power to treat them.

01:24About a hundred injured were admitted to this hospital in the northeastern suburbs of Beirut.

01:28Speaking to France 24, the hospital's director praised the swift response of his teams.

01:36Fortunately, the French hospital of the Levant has several operating rooms, a total of a

01:45dozen.

01:46We performed surgeries throughout the night and they are still ongoing.

01:50As the hospital director, I coordinated the efforts, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

01:56The work was managed remarkably well.

02:02Around 20 injured patients remain hospitalized at this facility, where the emergency plan

02:06is expected to stay in effect for several more days.
