00:00To further develop Malaysia's halal industrial landscape, the Unity Government or Mahdadi
00:15Government has established a task force, focused on enhancing halal parks across the country.
00:23This initiative ensures Malaysia remains at the forefront of the global halal economy,
00:30driving growth through world-class infrastructure and support for halal businesses.
00:38It is also crucial to include technical and vocational education and training, or TVET,
00:45in our halal industry milestone.
00:48I encourage TVET industry players, particularly in food and ingredients, to contribute to
00:56creating an ecosystem that supports TVET graduates.
01:01This includes developing skilled halal auditors with the technical expertise needed to ensure
01:09the authenticity and integrity of halal practices.
01:14Clearly, innovation is crucial for advancing and sustaining the halal economy.
01:21We must leverage technology and research to develop products and services for the future.
01:29Moreover, Malaysia is at the forefront of digital innovation in the halal sector with
01:36the National Halal Digital Platform, or known as NHDP, which will streamline and simplify
01:44the halal certification process from start to finish.
01:49It will incorporate technologies like blockchain, AI and IoT to boost transparency, traceability
01:58and efficiency in Malaysia's halal ecosystem, setting a global standard.
02:05To further develop a robust halal ecosystem, I am very excited to launch the Halal Industry
02:14Core Sector Insights Report, a key component of the halal sectoral roadmap.
02:22This report consolidates stakeholder insights and highlights advancement in Malaysia's halal
