00:00It is great, again, a very significant maiden visit by the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
00:09Now getting very close and friendly in our exchanges from this morning.
00:18Excellency General Romaro Sissoko Mbalo.
00:22And to me, it is a key country that will leverage our positive momentum in the West African region and potentially into Africa.
00:41Of course, Guinea-Bissau with Malaysia has been a very low-key engagement in the past.
00:48That's why I think President Romaro's visit is very significant.
00:54He has that vision to work with us, to engage with Malaysia as a base for the ASEAN region.
01:07And we, to accept the role of Guinea-Bissau, to expand our relations, trade, investments, and various fields.
01:20This meeting, hopefully, Petronas, FGV, this evening.
01:24And to look at the potential, both in Malaysia and also Guinea-Bissau.
01:31Not only at the national level, but to then use it as a base to expand into the African sub-region and continent.
01:45And similarly, to Malaysia and beyond.
01:51Now, we have discussed a number of issues, including extending halal cooperation in Islamic banking and finance.
02:03And training in either universities or industries, in various fields, including semiconductor, oil and gas, and food technology.
02:16We are ready to offer to some assistance, as we have done, under the MTCP program.
02:27And also, in a large program, which will be coordinated by Minister Johari.
02:35We also discussed a number of international issues.
02:41President Nomaro has extremely good relations with the UAE, with France, Russia, and the United States.
02:51And primarily, of course, Africa.
02:55And I think we, as a trading nation, and the policy in Malaysia and ASEAN, of course, centrality,
03:02we engage and befriend all countries.
03:06And this is very akin to the position taken by President Omaro and Guinea-Bissau.
03:12So, I would say that this is going to be your second home.
03:18And we, my colleagues, and the people of Malaysia, are extremely glad that you have now taken the initiative
03:27to forge the new relationship close, based on trust and affinity with Malaysia.
03:36So, I think we will get rid of the atmosphere, which will get rid of the atmosphere.
03:50And, again, thank you.
03:51So, I'll have some time.
03:52Beautiful time.
03:54Mmm.
03:54But, you would know, I'm constantly been told about ETHI, and I have a very few examples.
