00:00Drinking and rating coffee in Manchester. Hi, my name's Theo and welcome to Coffee Catch-Up.
00:04Today I went to Fig and Sparrow and got an oat milk flat white.
00:07So let's have a look at what the team have been up to over the weekend.
00:09First of all, I'm going to do a rare self-nomination here.
00:12I had two pieces out over the weekend. The first, a piece with Khalifa, a young man who's opened a bagel shop right here in Manchester.
00:17I tried it out last week and it was great, so please give it a go.
00:20I also did a piece on the changing landscape of the city.
00:22With all the new skyscraper plans that comes with a video of people on the street giving their view, both are well worth a look.
00:27Next up, Patrick's done a really moving piece on a fundraiser to honour the former Smiths facist Andy Rourke after he died last year.
00:33The campaign was launched by Rourke's former bandmate Mike Joyce.
00:36The mural itself is planned to be unveiled on the site of the Wheatsheaf pub in November.
00:40Finally, Sophia's had her eyes opened to the joys of a bottomless brunch after a visit to Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat.
00:44The restaurant looks incredibly classy inside and while it does cost £75, it includes snacks, starters, a main and bottomless Prosecco.
00:50The coffee is lovely. I was a bit low on energy today, so I absolutely needed it.
00:54I'm going to give it an 8.7. Lovely barista too.
00:57But that's all for now. Thank you for watching and follow Manchester World for more.
