00:00Drying and rating coffee in Manchester.
00:02Hello and welcome to Coffee Cat Shop, my name's Dirk Usenbetz and today's coffee is a latte from Chapter One,
00:07which is a cool sort of independent bookshop and cafe just near Piccadilly Gardens.
00:12So let's have a look at what the team have been up to.
00:14Let's start with a piece by Patrick, who attended Manchester's Neighbourhood Festival 2024 over the weekend.
00:19Neighbourhood Fest sees ten venues around the city play host to some wonderful musicians and acts,
00:22meaning you get to see a range of top musicians without getting caught in the rain.
00:26Patrick got to see people like Balancing Acts and Dirty Blondes, so please give it a go.
00:29Over to Sofia, she spent Friday talking to Mayor Andy Burnham and Sarah Story,
00:33who were encouraging people to walk, wheel and cycle around the city.
00:36Now Story also serves as Greater Manchester's Active Travel Commissioner,
00:40and it's no surprise that Andy Burnham has picked her as his pick for Sports Personality of the Year.
00:45Finally, Michael Plant's been chatting away to his mate Pep Guardiola about Edison.
00:49The Brazilian stop-stopper was rumoured to be leaving Manchester City over the course of the summer,
00:53and Pep really emphasised just how important the goalkeeper was.
00:56As for the coffee, I'm going to give it a 7.9.
00:58Thanks for watching. Follow Manchester World for more.
