00:00The active case of Mpox in the country went up to 8.

00:04This is after three more cases were detected by the Department of Health.

00:09These were also affected by Clade 2 or the mild version of Mpox.

00:15Mpox case number 15 is a 29-year-old man who had symptoms on August 21

00:23and is a resident of NCR who is now recovering at his home.

00:28Mpox case number 16 is also a 34-year-old man who had symptoms on August 27

00:36and is also from Metro Manila.

00:38After the consultation, he was discharged and is currently in home isolation.

00:45The last new case is a 29-year-old male from Calabarzon who had symptoms on August 19.

00:53Again, the DOH urged the public to avoid intimate contact

00:59especially the transmission of Mpox through close, intimate and skin-to-skin contact.
