Watch this sweet boy transform into the fluffiest, most gorgeous husky. Our producer, Chelsi, sent Whiskey's new mom a pool — and he LOVED it!

00:00He was wailing and crying, and it was devastating.

00:08It's unimaginable to think that anybody can let a dog get to that state.

00:13When we first saw him, it was like you weren't even looking at a dog.

00:16You were looking at another creature.

00:22Most out there are aware we're not supposed to shave Huskies, but with the state that

00:26Whiskey was in, there was nothing we could do to save even the fur that was left on him.

00:32She couldn't start the healing process without removing that fur.

00:39It took a lot of reassurance and comforting from the staff who went above and beyond to

00:44make sure that he was comfortable.

01:07When we saw Whiskey's video from the shelter, it brought us both to tears.

01:22The first few days were definitely a bit rough.

01:25He was very nervous, but he was very happy.

01:29He loved playing.

01:36It's been really hot in California, definitely going above 100 degrees, and Dodo was kind

01:42enough to send Whiskey to his very first kiddie pool.

01:55He definitely had a great time.

01:59Since we're not able to go to the pool or the beach so often, I think that he really

02:03enjoyed having his own little pool at home.

02:07He loved just putting his toes in it.

02:42I took him to the beach for the very first time, and he was just bewildered seeing a

02:48large body of water.

02:55We just want his life to be full of happiness and love.
