00:00Hi I'm Theo and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking people about fish and chips
00:04and there's a very simple reason for that. Fish and chips is one of the things that has gone up
00:08most over the course of the last five years it's risen by 50% and that's massively impacted
00:12people's ability to go out and have a cheeky chippy tea. I want to know whether people find
00:17themselves impacted by it often or whether it's not a massive deal for them and whether they
00:21think that it's a good situation or a bad one. We do get it every now and then I mean I love fish
00:25and chips but like it is just extortionate prices especially down south because I've lived in
00:32Bristol and it's like £13 sometimes like here in Manchester you can still get one for like
00:39you know £7, £6. It's not enough to notice the change I'm also just notice the change in the
00:44sense that like everything has gotten more expensive I've never really factored it down to
00:51specifically the fish and chips inflation. For me it was like
00:55almost every Friday we'd get like fish and chips but not at all anymore.
