Good Friends Fried Chicken, also known as Ji The Fried Chicken shop has been hailed as having the best fried chicken in the capital. So we head down to the Taiwanese spot and check it out!

00:00The food scene in London is unmatched and I think I found the best fried chicken and who doesn't love fried chicken except for

00:07People that don't eat meat, but other than that everyone loves a fried chicken

00:10So today I hopped on a tube heading towards Leicester Square

00:15Station where opposite is a good friend's fried chicken a Taiwanese fried chicken shop

00:23And it did not disappoint as soon as I got there

00:26there were queues out the door with lots of people having ordered some fried chicken and either munching inside the shop or just

00:33Outside now, I didn't really know what to order when I got there, but these popcorn chicken bites looked amazing

00:40there were other options such as garlic chicken gizzard and

00:44Boneless chicken thigh. However, if you wanted that it would be a 25 minute wait

00:49And by the time I saw all the fried chicken

00:51I was too hungry to wait that long on top of the counter

00:54There are lots of different seasonings that you could add on from garlic and chili

00:58I got these chick popcorn chicken with some garlic seasoning as well

01:03And let me tell you it really didn't disappoint

01:07Jeez, the chicken shop good friend has been hailed as serving the best fried chicken in London and it didn't disappoint

01:14However, it does come with a high price a little bag of popcorn chicken was seven pounds and the prices do go up from there

01:22While I was there I'd say literally hundreds of people came to order chicken ate outside and left again

01:29It really is a fun place to be. Taiwanese fried chicken was popularized by night market store owners in the late

01:361970s as they tried to recreate Western style chicken nuggets

01:40But ended up making a deep-fried boneless a bite-sized version of what we now call popcorn chicken

01:46It's the popcorn chicken or the karaage that are the go-to orders

01:49But there's also crispy squid, chicken skin, crispy tofu and sweet potato options if you feel like branching out
