We talk to some Wolverhampton Grammar pupils to see how there feeling on the eve of GCSE results day.

00:05And GCSE results tomorrow, and it's not quite like it used to be, A's and B's.

00:11Eight is equivalent to?

00:13An A star.

00:15And nine is a?

00:18Sadly two grades that never appear on my results.

00:22How are you feeling then? You've done the hard work, are you kind of quietly confident?

00:26I'm nervous.

00:28Yeah, same.

00:29Yeah, and you're going to be here bright and early to get the results, get it over and done?

00:33Yeah.

00:34What do you want to go on and do then?

00:36Well, I'll do Psychology, Biology and Art for A levels.

00:39Yeah?

00:40Yeah, I want to do Drama when I'm older, so I'm doing English Lit, Drama and Art for A levels.

00:45Cool, what sort of Drama would you like? Theatre or TV?

00:48Yeah, Stage Acting hopefully.

00:50Oh wow, what's got you into that then? Are you active at the school doing that sort of stuff?

00:53Yeah.

00:54Wow, okay, very interesting. Well we wish you all the best tomorrow ladies.

01:06And how are you lads feeling? Obviously nervous, but quietly confident or not too sure how it's going to go?

01:12Not too sure.

01:13Yeah, trying to be confident, trying to be confident.

01:16Yeah.

01:17What do you need then? What's kind of the grades that you need for your next steps?

01:21So I need to get a 6 in English minimum and then a 7 in Maths and a 7 in Chemistry.

01:30What do you want to go on to do then?

01:31I'm going to do Maths, Economics and Chemistry.

01:34Yeah, where will you be doing that at?

01:36I'll be doing it here.

01:37Oh wow, yeah, yeah.

01:38I need an 8 in Maths, a 7 in Chemistry and a 6 in English.

01:42So I'm doing Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics here.

01:46Doing it here, yeah, yeah. And what about yourself Ross?

01:48I need a 7 in Maths, English, Biology and Chemistry.

01:51What do you want to go on to do?

01:53I want to do Medicine, so I need to do Biology, Chemistry and I'm thinking Psychology.

01:57Yeah, yeah, great. So if you get the grades you want, you'll be here for what, another two years?

02:02Yeah.

02:03Well, have you got any plans tomorrow after you've opened the results or is it just kind of see how the day unfolds from there I guess?
