Where is the best place in Manchester to kill a rainy day

Well we can’t get too carried away with nice weather in Manchester, so we’ve hit the streets to find the things that residents and visitors to our wonderful city like to do to fill their time.

00:01I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking people about what their favorite thing to do is on a rainy day in this city today

00:07Isn't too bad, but even so it's not a bad opportunity to ask people whether there's a specific cafe restaurant bar

00:13Activity shop that they just can go into and kill a couple of hours. I like our flex. Yeah

00:19Yeah, I flex in town. They have like a bunch of small shops. It's really nice. Oh

00:24You know what? I love an escape room. Yeah

00:28So like there's are we do like Ricardo break out

00:33Yeah, it's um, I like supporting small businesses

00:37Especially small businesses that cater to a niche that many people wouldn't think of

00:42it definitely appeals to like

00:45Sort of like

00:47Outside it's kind of like outsiders a little bit

00:51Yeah, that's that's why I like it. I find it a very interesting place and a lot of the shops appeal to me

00:56Same with me. There's also really cool people that go there and they're all really nice

01:00Like, you know, you go in and you say like, oh, I love your hair

01:03I love your outfit and it's like a really nice accepting place for people of like certain like

01:07Styles and stuff like that and aesthetics. So I think it's a nice community

01:11Well, I do not know Manchester very well at all

01:14And we've come across in Bradford to meet a friend and their family from Hong Kong who are staying with parents in Birmingham

01:19We thought Manchester be a good central place. So you've had a great morning adventure golf

01:24Loads of stuff to do with the kids and then we've just gone to Pizza Express and the kids meals are free and Pizza Express in

01:29August and now we found this fountain area that is pouring with rain, but we've been here for an hour and it's been great

01:42Yeah, I think it I think we do need like more outside stuff as well like it's nice to have the ice skating

01:49Yeah

01:50Some more like fun things to do outside when it's nice weather

01:54It's not a lot in the center
