Relatives of patients that died at the hospital are continuing their search for answers to try and find out what happened to their loved ones.

00:00I noticed amongst the press that they've interviewed me, and I've been in contact with them for

00:15many, many years, which begs the question is, why am I now, a 79-year-old man, standing

00:22in front of the national press, still trying to get truth from the death of my mother 26

00:30years ago? I have an introductory statement, which is important and I'd like to read.

00:40My role today is to acquaint the press with the importance of an imminent statement due

00:48to be made by Hampshire Constabulary relating to blatant criminality that has been covered

00:56up for some 26 years and the ramifications that affect both past and current investigations

01:07involving the Gospel War Memorial, including Operation Magenta.

01:16The expected statement will either be one, an admission that misconduct involving dishonesty

01:26was not investigated in the original investigation and has been covered up to this day by police

01:34and others, causing untold wastage of public funds through ineffective inquiries of deliberately

01:44limited scope to protect the reputation of Hampshire Constabulary and the government,

01:52or two, perpetuate the denial of criminality that has pervaded the entire Gospel War Memorial

02:02Hospital subject for decades. When I hand over to David Wilson in a moment, he will

02:11put the meat on the bones of what I have just alluded to. It will become evident that

02:18there has been a monumental conspiracy all along and that the scope of Operation Magenta

02:25has been contrived to ensure that the criminality referred to remains hidden.
