00:00The government has taken another drastic decision to provide drinking water to the residents of Bhagyanagar.
00:06To increase the availability of drinking water, the government has given a green signal to Godavari Drinking Water Supply Phase 2.
00:13So far, the Prime Minister, Principal Secretary Dhanakeshwar has agreed to Rs. 5,560 crores for the 2nd phase of the project.
00:21The government has promised to provide water to the city through that document, and that the Himalayas and the Uttar Pradesh rivers will be rejuvenated.
00:29At present, Hyderabad is supplying 600 MGDs from 580 MGDs to all the farmers for drinking water.
00:37In 2030, the government has set a target of supplying another 170 MGDs of water and another 1014 MGDs by 2050.
00:49With the exodus of 30 TMCs from Godavari, the government has decided to implement Godavari Project Phase 2 for the people of Adana.

01:09Under Godavari Drinking Water Supply Phase 1, the government is providing 10 TMCs of water from the Ellampally project for the people of Hyderabad.
01:19With the 2nd phase of the project, there is a chance to use another 15 TMCs of water from the Mallanna Sagar reservoir.
01:25Out of those 15 TMCs, 5 TMCs are being used for the people of the city to drink water and 5 TMCs are being used for the people of Janta Jalasa to rejuvenate.
01:36The project DPR has been prepared by WAPCOS.
01:39In this, pump houses, substations, from Mallanna Sagar to Ghanpur have been built with a 3600 mm dia heavy pipeline.
01:47In Ghanpur, a water purification centre with a capacity of 780 MLDs has been built in Samirpet.
01:53From Ghanpur to Muthangi, other works have been done along with the main construction of pumping.
01:58In 2 years, they have set a goal to complete this project.
02:02Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme Phase 1 is supplying 163 MGDs of water.
02:38The government has allocated 9,410 crores to the water supply for the last 10 years.
