00:00Art, what stood out to you today at practice?

00:03So certainly, first and foremost,

00:04that Matthew Judon was out here in shoulder pads,

00:07begrudgingly or not.

00:09Not a full participant, I would say.

00:10Some of the team 11-on-11 stuff, it was one rep and then out.

00:13And I'm going to go sit on a Gatorade box,

00:15and I'm going to retie my shoes.

00:18Very active with his teammates in pass rush drills,

00:21showing the defensive linemen some moves,

00:23some technical things, showing the tackles,

00:26maybe how to counter those and how to block some of those.

00:29Being a good teammate, so that certainly stood out.

00:31Matthew Judon is at least partially

00:33invested in the process of today's fully padded practice.

00:36Yeah, partially invested.

00:38Or is this a part of the manipulation

00:40that someone does of currying favor?

00:43We did see Matthew Judon early in camp running out

00:46to get the fans on his side.

00:48Apparently, he's not worried so much about the fan reaction

00:50anymore.

00:52Is that too nefarious to think that it has shifted to now,

00:56hey, I'm going to visibly show, I'm

00:58going to be the best teammate that I can,

01:01and those guys are going to love me.

01:02And guys like Devon Godshaw will say, ah, he

01:04deserves this contract.

01:05Yeah, and he said that yesterday,

01:07and we'll probably get somebody today.

01:09Maybe Jacoby Brissett will support him

01:10in his mentions with the media.

01:13I still say, all of this is much ado about nothing.

01:16It goes back to money.

01:17It's going to be what he wants, what they're willing to pay,

01:20and how they come together on those two numbers.

01:23Beyond Judon and the contract situation,

01:26left tackle situation is still not what I'm looking for.

01:29Vardarian Lowe with the first group at left tackle again,

01:32second straight day, after Caden Wallace had been there

01:34for a stretch, after Okorafor had been there for a stretch.

01:37So let me just ask you, he was a young player.

01:42He was only in year two when they got him here.

01:44What, last year?

01:45Is there a chance that Vardarian Lowe might be getting better

01:48and become a starting grade player?

01:51I always leave the door open for growth and development

01:54and a chance, especially when you are desperate

01:56and don't have a better option and might

01:58have to give him that shot.

01:59So yeah, I leave that there.

02:01That's going to get really interesting.

02:03And it's going to get interesting when we get

02:04into the joint practices, obviously,

02:06because those are going to be very competitive.

02:07The Eagles are a pretty good defense.

02:09See what they do.

02:10Match up with some other bodies other than, well,

02:13Judon is only a half participant.

02:15He'd be your best pass rusher.

02:17Correct.

02:17Your next best defensive front player is Barmore.

02:20He's not out here.

02:21So the challenges that that makeshift offensive line

02:25is going to face haven't been that strong early in camp.

02:28So yeah, the line is still a massive concern.

02:31I will say, I thought Drake May had a nice practice.
