‘Worst week of the year’ for roadworks across Wales

We speak to the people of Newport about whether they’ve been affected by the massive amounts of roadworks currently underway around Wales.

00:05But then again, I suppose that is the commuter belt down to West Wales, isn't it?

00:09So people go on holidays, so I'd imagine, yeah, start the school holidays, commuter

00:13But not so much central, but I think you get, you know, particularly the M4, it's got a

00:18bit of a tailback.

00:19But it stops all the traffic in the daytime, don't it?

00:25So why didn't they do it at night time when there's less traffic in there?

00:28Because, right, the people want to go to work then the next day, whatever, blah, blah,

00:37Thank God I don't drive anymore.

00:42Because it's everywhere, isn't it?

00:46I've noticed a lot of building everywhere, which is good to see, but there are definitely

00:52a lot of roadworks lately, which is also good to see, because it's about time they did some

00:56work on the roads.

00:57The roads are terrible.
