The latest fashion statement at the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee from July 15-18 was the donning of fake ear bandages, a symbolic gesture of support for nominee Donald Trump by Arizona delegates. 00:04And Nathan is happy to respond to that.

00:07And he spent hours, you know how long he spent?

00:11He spent six hours with him.

00:15What I got going on here is a patch over my right ear as Donald Trump wears one.

00:23We do it in solidarity with our President Trump because we love him.

00:27We support him 100%.

00:29And we wish him well.

00:31We're helping President Trump set a new fashion statement.

00:36And we're standing in solidarity with him for his wound.

00:39And we just want him to know how much we love him.

00:43The tragedy that happened just a few days ago, we just wanted to give our hearts.

00:49We wanted to show him our love, our respect, our admiration.

00:52And if somebody has to wear a cast, we'll wear a cast.

00:55If somebody has to have a bandage, we'll wear a bandage.

00:58We're behind him 100%.

00:59We love him.

01:00This is a sign of our love for him, our care, our concern, our thankfulness to God.

01:06We know that God saved him for special things for this country.

01:12I don't think it's another MAGA hat.

01:14I think it's something that's of the moment.

01:18You know, the assassination attempt was just the other day.

01:21I've been impressed by the theme of unity

01:24and that there's enough room in the tent of the Republican Party

01:29for all different types of people.

01:31Sometimes people think somebody of my skin color or ethnic background

01:35would not be welcome here.

01:37But I felt welcome.

01:39To be so close to the bullet,

01:42yet hitting him but not harming him in any drastic way,

01:47it's unbelievable.

01:49It has to be divine providence because that just doesn't happen.

01:52I feel like God has something special for Trump to do

01:54and I'm very excited to help support him in that effort.

01:57First I want to hear what he's going to say about what happened to him.

02:00I can't even imagine going through an experience like that,

02:04almost losing your life.

02:06And he got up and he showed how resilient and strong he is.

02:10So obviously I want to hear that.

02:12I think this shooting lately, I think people are really changing their mind

02:17and I think he's going to have another different aspect of himself as well

02:25and he's not going to be as pompous

02:27and I think he's going to really get down to business.
