I had the opportunity to visit The Lightship in Haslar Marina and it was absolutely incredible. From top notch sevice to modern decor and sublime food, I would definitely recommend this one-of-a-kind venue.

00:00so if I asked you what your best dinner experience was what would you say so I

00:07was lucky enough to go for dinner at the lightship in Haslamarina Gosport I took

00:13my mum along and we had an absolutely amazing evening there it is sensational

00:21from the decor to the food to the quality of service I would definitely

00:26recommend 10 out of 10 so we went and we had a three-course meal with kind of

00:33like a picky bit to start and we had courgette fritties which came with lemon

00:39aioli and charred lemon and oh my goodness it was sensational I have to

00:46admit it was sublime I've never tasted anything quite like it we then moved on

00:52to our starters so I had agnolotti which is kind of like pasta stuffed with

00:59feta mint and pesto and my mum had crab for our mains we both opted in for the

01:07Dorset beef ribeye and that was oh it was divine you know it comes with chips

01:14a red wine jus and definitely definitely will be having that again and then we

01:20we had to finish with something sweet obviously we both had and so I had like

01:26a chocolate kind of like cake with oh I don't even know how to describe it it

01:32was just a load of sweet goodness and my mum had an apple meal for it and it was

01:38just I mean I definitely tried some of hers and it was beautiful we were lucky

01:45enough to be served by Laura who's one of the managers there and she has just

01:51an incredible knowledge on wines drinks and she used to work at brewery so she's

01:57got that knowledge and she was just mind-blowing you know she knew what

02:02drinks to pair with what we were having and to be honest it really made the

02:06evening you know she was so friendly it made the experience for you I would head

02:12down to the lightship as soon as possible don't walk run
