00:00Hello everybody, and welcome to Microsoft Word.
00:04There is a reason for this, I promise you.
00:07Some of you may or may not know,
00:09sometimes occasionally in my videos I mention I've been doing this project,
00:14mainly to do with the LASAR Q&A thread in the War Thunder forums,
00:20where basically you ask questions about aircraft or miscellaneous topics,
00:25like tech trees, what weapons are being added, when they're being added,
00:30and basically LASAR and other developers do their best to answer.
00:35Now, this thread is hundreds of pages long,
00:40I think there's nearly 3,000 posts in it,
00:44and obviously you get a lot of duplicate questions
00:47and a lot of interesting answers get lost along the way.
00:50So I have taken the job of going through some of these posts
01:00and trying to put it into some sort of list
01:07to hopefully avoid duplicate questions,
01:15allow people to look at some of the previous answers, that sort of stuff.
01:19I'm just scrolling through it now, but I'll actually leave a link to the document
01:25that I've put on my Google Drive.
01:28I think I've sent it public for everyone to read.
01:31Now, the basic how it works,
01:36the bold writing is
01:48what I've written.
01:49It's basically, you know,
01:51so here LASAR's asked,
01:53when asked about the B-17 having a certain overload,
01:57the quotes are then the answers,
01:59could you describe them more carefully?
02:01Which was the basic system I came up with.
02:04Some of these other ones, you can see I haven't,
02:07sorry, my throat,
02:09haven't done this exactly,
02:12like the pooled defiant here.
02:15It hasn't even got the post number,
02:17because these in brackets are the post number.
02:19In the early days I was just trying to catch up with the already existing list,
02:23so I've sort of made a few little sacrifices,
02:27or skipped a little bit.
02:29Still scrolling down.
02:31Like I said, if it's going a bit too fast,
02:33you will be able to look at the document in the link below.
02:37You can get some interesting answers here as well.
02:42For example, there's been questions about the G8N2.
02:46We've been told there were other plans for it,
02:48but it won't be available for players.
02:50You can see some like the G10N.
02:53This gets asked a lot of the time for some reason.
02:56They've been told no constantly,
02:59no, but, well, you know,
03:01they've asked it just here,
03:03one, two, three times,
03:05which is one of the reasons I did this list,
03:07because obviously a lot of duplicate answers and questions,
03:10hopefully this list will help avoid some of them.
03:14Now, obviously, I haven't finished all of it.
03:20One, because it's an ongoing thing.
03:22I don't think it's ever going to stop the thread.
03:25And two, because I've just been so busy with,
03:29you know, questions,
03:31not questions, with coursework,
03:33I don't know when I'm going to be able to finish it or catch up.
03:36I've sort of finished releasing it in this,
03:39in this sort of not quite finished state.
03:43I think I've about, I've managed to get up to,
03:45I think, October, I think, on the questions.
03:47I know they've stopped on November 20th.
03:50That was the last, when they last locked it,
03:52because they lock it when they go to answer the questions.
03:55There are some spelling mistakes.
03:57I left them because there's a bit of a language barrier sometimes,
04:00and I don't want to accidentally edit
04:04what I thought was a spelling mistake
04:06and is actually just, you know,
04:08was an actual answer or something.
04:12Maybe took that a little too far,
04:14because, you know, some of these probably are kind of obvious,
04:19but I didn't want to, you know, make a mistake.
04:22Nearly at the end of this, I'm just sort of talking
04:24so I can at least get all of this on the video.
04:27There's also my Ascalaneus, for example,
04:29which I found out here, the Italian tech tree.
04:31It's going to be at the end of the year.
04:33Now, this is interesting, because we've been told a lot
04:36about the American Steel Generals update for patch 1.45.
04:41We haven't been told anything about the Italian tech tree,
04:44which is supposed to be coming out next month.
04:47So, again, it might be a language barrier,
04:50because sometimes they ask some questions that...
04:53I think they say, "'til the new year," which...
04:58It doesn't always make sense to me.
05:01It kind of implies that the new year for me,
05:03but maybe it means after the new year.
05:05You can see some other questions and answers,
05:07like cargo planes won't be player controllable,
05:10stuff about cluster bombs.
05:12Then we get a plan to improve transport situation.
05:15I'll actually quickly move this up here.
05:18So we avoid duplicate answers,
05:21the very thing I was actually trying to stop in the first place.
05:26And you can also see how the developers...
05:28you know, how deadlines change and stuff.
05:30I'll show you an example in a second.
05:32I'm just trying to get the last of this in.
05:34Fleet Air Arm 1.47.
05:37Not intending to group jets.
05:40Here are some of the links to the posts.
05:43This is where I got up to, post 2167.
05:46I do need to try and make these a bit more condensed
05:49or show what posts they link to when I can.
05:52As you can see, there's 18 pages of this,
05:54and 19 pages and over 6,000 words.
05:59Now, sorry, the pause button is also the spelling button.
06:02You can also, like I said,
06:04you can see how they've changed their mind about certain stuff.
06:08Now, I was saying about minds being changed,
06:10or answer changing.
06:12You can see it with the Fi 167,
06:14which I think was meant to be a German carrier aircraft,
06:16but because their carrier was never operational,
06:19I don't know if it was ever used,
06:21or maybe used in a different role.
06:23But here it says, no carrier to take off from,
06:25most likely won't make it, post 631.
06:27But then, post 1817, possibly we will make it,
06:30but I'm not sure when.
06:32So, gone from most likely won't make it,
06:35but to possibly we will make it.
06:38So, you can see how minds do get changed and all that.
06:42Now, I have tried to keep it in some logical order,
06:45usually keeping it to just one name,
06:47like B-52, or B-52 entries would go there.
06:50But when I first started here,
06:52I did go a bit crazy and do it for every variant.
06:56So, you've got Bf 109c, T, B, C, D.
07:00I will have to sort some of that out.
07:02I've had to split some of it into paragraphs,
07:04because there's a lot of answers about Bf 109.
07:07It was just one big blob,
07:09so I had to start cutting it down into paragraphs.
07:13So, yeah, that's basically the...
07:16Well, the... I'm trying to think of a name for it.
07:19The War Thunder Future Improvement,
07:22or Future Patch Changes, or something like that.
07:25Like I said, there'll be a link to it in the description,
07:29so you can go straight there.
07:31I haven't made it so others can edit it,
07:34because you know what the Internet's like.
07:36Someone will get on it and just delete it all or something.
07:39So, I will try and update it when I can,
07:42but obviously, like I said, I've got a lot of coursework,
07:47so I don't know when I'll be able to do more changes to it.
07:51I will try and add it when I can,
07:54but just so it's not gone totally to waste,
07:57it'll be here for people to look at.
08:01I might post this on the forum when I get a chance as well.
08:04Obviously, it'll have more effect there, I'm hoping.
08:07But anyway, thank you for watching.
08:09Hope you enjoyed the video.
08:10Leave a like if you liked the video.

08:14I hope you use this Word document.
08:17I hope you find it useful.
08:19Yeah, and I'll see you next time.
