00:00today on the ninth wave dev server we're going to be taking a look at the japanese honi 2
00:04which has been added at rank 1 battle rating 1.7 in a folder with the horo and the honi
00:112 is basically the honi 1 except it's armed with a 105 millimeter type 91 gun um like i say
00:18this
00:18is basically the same as the honi one so it's got more or less the same armor maxing out 25
00:22millimeters
00:23of the hole gun shields actually a bit better protected because this bit here is two 25
00:29millimeter plates which might throw off some enemies especially in the low tiers but the
00:34rest of the vehicle is not very well armored and of course the fighter compartment is open from the top
00:38and rear and so moving on to the type 91 gun itself like i say this is a 105 millimeter
00:45gun so you've
00:46got a longer reload rate of 13 seconds or 10 seconds if you fully upgrade your crew skills and it's
00:52got
00:52horizontal guidance of 10 degrees either way and a vertical guidance of minus 10 to plus 20 so
00:57might do well in some ambush situations but obviously not very good if you're trying to
01:02engage enemies to your flanks and it only fires two shells unfortunately because it could fire an aphe
01:08shell in real life but that hasn't been added for whatever reason but you've got he shell with 29.1
01:13millimeters penetration and a muzzle velocity of 546 meters a second and a much improved heat shell
01:20with 105 millimeters penetration but only 337 meters a second muzzle velocity so in theory the heat
01:29shell will be better for against armored targets but for your day-to-day you're probably better off
01:33with your he shell which will be able to hit targets a little bit easier and of course in the
01:39lower tiers
01:39the he shell will still be able to take out most enemies and other than that it's basically the same
01:44as only one so 24.9 miles per hour top speed going forward 7.3 miles per hour in reverse
01:50and you've
01:50got your four crew one in the hull itself and then the three in the fighting compartment so we're taking
01:56this out for a quick test drive just to see how it performs so we've just spawned in and we're
02:01going
02:01to attack the m2a4 right in front of us and took it out in one hit so the he shell
02:08as you can see is
02:09quite effective in the low tiers or against low tier vehicles but you do have that long reload rate
02:13which the honey one's 75 millimeter gun doesn't have as much of a problem with and of course against
02:20soft skin vehicles it will mostly annihilate them but then you've got your higher tier more heavily
02:26armored vehicles like the sherman so we've got the side armor here the thinner part of the armor
02:32compared to the front and oh we actually managed to take out in one hit okay what i was meant
02:38to
02:38demonstrate was hitting the side armor would not kill the uh sherman but um happy little accident
02:43there um okay it's not generally going to be effective against shermans and the like um as
02:49you can see from the front there didn't do anything but um yeah as we've demonstrated there can work
02:54occasionally but uh yeah you shouldn't really be going up against more heavily armored vehicles
02:58as a rule unless you're aiming for the lesser armored parts which might be a bit of a problem
03:03for longer range targets because this doesn't have the best muzzle velocity for its various shells
03:11so we're going to take this back to the hangar and so yeah that is the honi 2 and this
03:15is a vehicle i
03:16have been waiting for for a long time because of course like i say it is basically a honi one
03:20so
03:20this was a ridiculously easy vehicle to add i don't know why it hasn't been added for such a long
03:26time
03:27um but yeah definitely glad the honi 2 has been added hopefully we'll get some more obscure japanese
03:32vehicles because we've got quite a few japanese vehicles from world war 2 but it was still quite
03:35a few more obscure prototypes especially some of the light tanks like the type 5 kiho and such
03:41and hopefully we'll see some of them added in the future but yeah very glad to see the honi 2
