Joshua Zirkzee will undergo a Manchester United medical on Friday after the club reached an agreement with Bologna for his transfer.
The Dutch forward is set to become United's first signing of the summer transfer window and the first senior addition of the Ineos regime since they invested in the club.
It is understood United have agreed to pay €42.5 million for his signature, slightly more than the €40 million release clause so that they can stagger the transfer fee over a three-year period, rather than pay it upfront in full.
