00:00I'd be almost found in 1749 and here we make a range of products out of Cowhorn.

00:06We turn Cowhorn into a luxury high-end product ranging from shoehorns to

00:11brushes for your clothes and for your hair, cufflinks, collar stays, anything

00:16that the high-end luxury item needs we make. We have the horns that you can see

00:20behind me and they go downstairs into the factory and we have a band saw, a

00:25disco machine, a sanding machine and a polisher which really brings out the nice

00:29colours in the horn which is a unique selling point that no two horns are the

00:32same. We've got the heat in the horn so when you heat the horn up it becomes

00:36pliable and you can move it and mould it which is how we get the shapes of the

00:38shoehorn. The Cowhorn comes from Nigeria and Cameroon and we get two to three

00:43shipments a year and so it comes in a big container and we empty it here by hand

00:49to the pile behind me. And I believe that if you didn't use them they'd just go to landfill?

00:55That's true yeah it's a by-product for the meat industry so the cattle are killed

00:59for the meat and the horns would go to landfill if we didn't have it here so we

01:03effectively turn what would go to landfill into the high-end luxury products

01:07that we do. What's your most popular product that you do?

01:10I'd definitely say the shoehorns that vary from sizes you're four inch up to 24 inch

01:14and even bigger on rare occasions they're definitely up there with the

01:18best-selling products that we do.
