00:00We've been promised pay week after week, those weeks metamorphosed into months.
00:05It's been really frustrating and a really burden on myself as well as my former colleagues.
00:16Some of them, they even had their bills, they have rent, they have children,
00:21they have their debts to take care of.
00:25Mr Hercules said his bills remain outstanding.
00:29I am somebody who would like to take care of my bills, I have responsibilities,
00:34I have bills to take care of, I'm accustomed to paying my bills on time and this is
00:39really frustrating for me and I would really like for QAS to please give me some answers when
00:48I'll be getting paid. It is really frustrating and I need some answers.
00:55He said other workers remain in debt but are afraid to speak out for fear of victimization.
01:01There are others that are renting and they do, some of them they even have a loan with the bank
01:07and the bank is calling them almost every day about their money and it is frustrating for them.
01:14Some of them might not really want to come forward because they're a bit afraid of
01:19victimization, some might want to come forward because of the fact that they don't know what to
01:24do and they feel like there's nothing else for them to do but I am willing to come forward because I
01:29am not afraid of anybody or anything and I find that the right thing should be done and no one
01:35should be victimized for speaking the truth. Mr Hercules remains hopeful the matter would
01:40be resolved soon. It has affected me really badly, a lot of frustration on me every day
01:46it's like it's like I'm always in a state of limbo, I don't know where to go, I just don't
01:52know where to look, it's just that I have no answers, I'm just confused. Owners of these
01:59security companies have complained of outstanding monies owed to them by the THA for services
02:05rendered. TV6 questioned the Chief Secretary Farley Augustine on the matter. Mr Augustine
02:11said he is aware of the matter and efforts are being made to have the present situation resolved.
