A planning application has now been submitted for the major refurbishment and expansion project for Filwood Community Centre in Knowle West, with an artist impression by architects Hayhurst and Co showing what it will look like.

00:19for the refurbishment and expansion project for Filwood Community Centre in Norwest with

00:26an artist's impression by architects Hayhurst & Co showing what it will look like.

00:31The redevelopment of 1938 building on Filwood Broadway is the centrepiece of the regeneration

00:38plans for the street which was allocated £14.5m. The project is being backed by Bristol City

00:46Council and Community in Partnership Norwest which runs the community centre.

00:52The project will also provide a new home for Filwood Library which is currently down

00:57the road in a 1960s building.
