Two German nationals among three women killed in QLD bus crash

Investigations are continuing in north Queensland after a bus crash claimed the lives of three passengers on Sunday.

00:00Four patients from Sunday's fatal crash remain in hospital in Townsville.

00:07A 24-year-old man remains in a critical condition and a 23-year-old man is serious but stable.

00:15Of the remaining patients, two men aged 27 and 51 are all stable.

00:21Of the three casualties, it's been confirmed by the German Embassy in Canberra that two were German nationals.

00:28They were both women aged in their 20s and 30s.

00:32Both the Embassy and the German Consulate General in Sydney are providing consular assistance

00:38in coordination with local authorities in Australia and Germany.

00:42The third casualty has been identified as a 56-year-old woman from Townsville.
