00:00Heading, the result of troubling others. Questioner, what kind of karma causes the physical happiness
00:09or unhappiness we experience? Tadashri, many people kill and torture cats and dogs unintentionally.
00:18When they cause misery to these animals, they are not aware of the consequences they will
00:22have to face. Killing kittens and puppies, dissecting frogs has its repercussions. Whatever
00:30you do will come back at you. These are all your own echoes, effects. Questioner, so the
00:39pain given to other bodies will be reflected in the same way? Tadashri, yes, that is it.
00:46The slightest misery you give to any living being will return to your own body. Questioner,
00:54would a person not be in a state of ignorance when he dissects and cuts all these animals?
01:00Does he still have to suffer even though he does not have feelings of animosity towards
01:04his victims? Tadashri, if by accident your hand falls on burning charcoal, you will suffer
01:12the consequences. So nobody lets you off, whether it is in ignorance or with awareness,
01:19knowingly or unknowingly. Only the suffering is different. All these people suffer because
01:26of their own accounts. That is why the Lord has told us to practice ahimsa, nonviolence,
01:33through the mind, body, and speech. If you want to be happy, then you must not hurt any
01:39living being, even slightly. Heading, which karma makes one rich or poor? If one accepts
01:48that whatever happens is justice, then he will attain liberation. Questioner, then dada,
01:56don't you think if a poor man who is very virtuous and religious were to see a wealthy
02:00man who is devious and immoral, he would be put off by religion altogether? He will think
02:07that all his piousness has not improved his poverty at all. Tadashri, not every religious
02:14person is miserable. Perhaps even 5% are happy. Whatever misery befalls us today is the result
02:23of our karma. The fact that a person enjoys wealth and prosperity today is all the result
02:29of his karma. He will suffer the consequences of whatever bad deeds he does in this life,
02:36in his next life. We will enjoy the fruits of the good deeds we do today in the next
02:42life. Questioner, dada, what you are saying is true, but looking at it from the point
02:50of worldly interaction, if a man lives in a hut, suffering hunger and thirst, alongside
02:57a man that lives in a palace, don't you think it would make him angry to see the man in
03:02the palace living a life of corruption while he, an honest and decent man, cannot even
03:08feed his children? How would he be able to remain calm? Tadashri, the misery that he
03:15is experiencing now is a result of the test, cause, he took in the past life. The other
03:23person has also taken the test, he passed, and now he is receiving the result. Now in
03:31this life, the rich man's karmas are such that he is going to fail the test of this
03:35life and the result will come in the next life. The poor man is now being tested in
03:42this life, he will pass the test and he will enjoy its effects in the next life. Questioner,
03:52but until the poor man is able to accept his lot in life, how can he understand that? Tadashri,
03:58he can never accept it. On the contrary, he binds more path, he has to know that it is
04:05the result of his own karma. So if we understand this much, then only we can accept whatever
04:14happens is justice, never incorrect, never unjustice. Then only we can have solution
04:22of this worldly problem. Because we can see whatever by five senses, whatever we are observing
04:30is a result. But inside intention, inside bhava, we don't know which type of inside
04:36intention the person is having. So that part is a cause for next life. And we are observing
04:43results, result of past life. So if we understand science of karma, then only we will get solution
04:52and then after so many evidence, so many proof, we can understand whatever happens is always
05:00justice, never injustice.
