00:00Hello and welcome to another video, today we're unboxing this.
00:09This is a TV net unit, a Japanese accessory that you can connect to the Nintendo Famicom.
00:16And there we go.
00:17And you can use cards to basically, as you can see through here, connect to, essentially
00:24use like an internet of sorts.
00:28This one in specific is for JLA-PAT, you may remember in the past I unboxed another thing
00:35for JLA-PAT, that was the Famicom Network System, so this one's also for that, so I
00:41guess this is in a way similar to that in concept.
00:44So let's open it up, I've got a sort of hammer and clone set up here so we can test it out.
00:58So it's wrapped in plastic, so I'll have to take this off, as well as the cards having
01:20it off.
01:21So here it is, as you can see this is the top, it says TV net there, got some vents
01:29on either side, and it's got this card in it, much thinner than the cards in the original
01:37Famicom Network System, JLA-PAT on this side, got an arrow so you know which way to point
01:42it, and information on the back, very similar to the Network System, as you can see it's
01:48got a little place to put your thumb so you can pull it out easily, and you can see straight
01:52onto the circuit board in there, let's put this in, still moves quite a bit when it's
02:02inside it.
02:03On the front you've got two ports, you can plug the telephone I imagine in there, on
02:10the back it says TV net MC-1200B, it's quite a serial number, and there's four screws,
02:18they do look a bit rusted, and this is just where it plugs in.
02:22Let's plug it into here, there we go, it says finally loaded up, took a while, I'm not sure
02:36what that says, might be an error of some kind, maybe it just can't connect, I'll open
02:45up Google Translate on this and have a look what it says.
02:49So it looks like there's an error that's coming up, it's this one here, and from Google Translating
02:55it looks like it says something about a keyboard not being inserted correctly, so I'm going
03:00to imagine that either, assuming that is the correct translation, you're supposed to have
03:06a keyboard inserted into the front port of the original Famicom, of course this one doesn't
03:13have a larger port, so you wouldn't be able to do that, but imagine you're supposed to
03:17insert that, and that's the second that's not there.
03:21So I guess that's it for this video, if you liked the video you'll have to like the video,
