00:22A dermatologist tells HuffPost if the redness turns into large, extensive blisters, it's
00:28time to get to the emergency room or hospital.
00:30She said quote,
00:31When you lose such a portion of your skin barrier, you're no longer able to regulate
00:35your temperature and you lose a lot of water.
00:38If your sunburn is accompanied by heat stroke or a body temperature over 103 degrees, you
00:44should see a doctor immediately.
00:46To be safe, dermatologists say it's important to apply sunscreen every two hours when outdoors
00:51and wear UV protective clothing.
