An alleged road rage incident in Sydney’s west has ended in the death of a man. Police say an argument broke out between two drivers one ran over and killed the other before driving off in his Ute.

00:00Shock and sorrow as horrified Blackett locals woke up to a tragic death on their street.
00:07And I saw this guy laying on the ground, a couple of cops were around this area trying to do CPR for him.
00:15I'm a mother myself and it's really shattered me to know that something like this has happened.
00:23Police say an argument broke out between two drivers just before 9am.
00:29Our initial investigations have led us to believe the deceased felt threatened by a car following him
00:35when we have information that the same car hit the victim.
00:39The driver of this white ute allegedly ran over the 27-year-old victim and fled the scene.
00:45Apparently the victim had gotten out of the vehicle after being threatened by the car following him
00:53and obviously words were said and that's what led us to believe it could have happened because of a road rage incident.
00:59Police believe the victim's body was dragged about 100 metres away from his vehicle.
01:04They've issued a warning to the driver accused of the hit and run.
01:08I appeal for the driver to please come forward and hand yourself in to police because we will find you.
01:13Do the right thing, come forward, let the family grieve and you know my heart goes out to the family.
01:21A family mourning a son lost to road rage.
