00:00I never thought I'd be a politician, you probably can't tell that by looking at me, but I decided
00:11to run for Congress because I was concerned.
00:16I was concerned with what I saw.
00:18I was concerned that we had a bunch of people go to Washington D.C. who say I'll talk a
00:25bunch of tough talk on the campaign trail, but then when we meet them in Capitol Hill
00:29they fold like cheap suits.
00:34And so many of us in Washington right now don't feel like we have a lot of time left.
00:40We don't feel like we can continue doing what we're doing without completely destroying
00:45this country.
00:46And that's why you've seen some of us make very bold moves.
00:49Some of them have never even been done before.
00:52I'm proud to be one of the eight people that ousted Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

01:07And I'm going to tell you something right now guys, the swamp bully has two moves.
01:11Move number one is they try and co-opt you, corrupt you.
01:14If that doesn't work they try to get rid of you.
01:16And that's the list I'm on right now.

01:58There's some people that are going to work in seminary, in the church.

02:10and you're not going to give up this country.

02:15I think of myself when I was your age, and I think to myself, what would I want to know
02:20when I was young?
02:24One of the number one things that I would want to know going back, looking back on it
02:28all is this.
02:31God is for you, but this story is not about you.

02:40Why is that important?
02:45I'll tell you why it's important.
02:47Because once you understand, once we understand, and yes, we are the generation of the selfie,
02:52once you understand it, this story isn't about you, it's about Him, and it's about our Lord
02:58and Savior.
02:59It makes it really easy, thank you, it makes it really easy to quit worrying about what
03:08you did or didn't get, where you did or didn't start from, who's ahead of you, are you behind
03:15in your goals or not, and it makes it easy to start waking up every single day and saying,
03:20alright Lord, this is what you've given me, what do you want me to do with it?
03:25Okay?
03:26If you guys do that, you guys will be so far ahead of your peers, and the possibility of
03:33you becoming successful and achieving everything you want will rise exponentially.
03:39Number two, why does every epic story that you and I love have an enemy, a villain?
03:47Because yours does.
03:49John 10.10 is really clear about this.
03:52The thief has come to steal, kill, and destroy.
03:551 Peter 5.8 is also very clear about this.
03:59It says, be alert and of sober mind, for your enemy the devil prowls the earth like a roaring
04:04lion looking for someone to devour.
04:07I know because I see it too.
04:10We're watching our country be devoured, we're watching a lot of things stolen, killed, and
04:17destroyed, and everything that you see has a spiritual foundation to it.
04:22Once it gets up to us in Washington, it's been in culture for a very long time.
04:28I tell you that, you young people, because this enemy that I speak of, he wants to destroy
04:34you too.
04:35He wants to take you out.
04:37And if you're not cognizant, if you're not cautious, if you're not looking for him, he'll
04:42get you with one of the easy ones.
04:44Sex, drugs, rock and roll, whatever it is.
04:47He has a thousand different ways to take you out.
04:50I gotta tell you, God does have a plan for you.
04:52He has something great for you.
04:54And you can help us save this country, but you have to know, you do have an enemy.
05:00And you have to act like it.
05:04Last thing I want to say, number three, do not seek comfort.
05:09Seek mission.
05:11Seek service.
05:12Seek sacrifice.
05:14If you do those things, those three things that I just talked about, you too can be one
05:21of the world changers.
05:23Maybe you never come up on a stage like this, but at the end of it all, when you're old
05:28and gray and you look back at yourself in a mirror, you'll be proud of the life that
05:33you have lived.
05:35I hope you young folks took what I said to heart, because from the bottom of my heart,
05:40I do care about you, and I want you to be successful, and I want you to help us save
05:45this country.
