00:00Yes, ma'am.
00:01Senator, I know you talked to the president yesterday.
00:03How was your conversation?
00:04Because by my count, it's been six months since you first started talking and pushing
00:08for this bill.
00:09When does the patience run out?
00:11Well, this bill is, I can't remember how long we've talked about this one, but this
00:15one is relatively new on people's radar screen.
00:18That's why we don't do the news conference.
00:20And back to Amy, she's the one that brought this to my attention.
00:23And, you know, I think what people understand what's going on in Russia with these kids
00:28that hopefully tonight a firestorm.
00:30So I talked to him about moving forward.
00:34He's very intent on making China pay for propping up Putin.
00:39He's in discussions with Europe.
00:41I talked to Ursula, the EU commissioner, this morning.
00:45He's trying to get Europe to do more, to follow our lead.
00:48I've heard Europeans say, well, the Chinese buy a lot of high-end goods.
00:52Too bad.
00:54We've got to let that mentality go and put China and India in a box to get Putin at the table.
01:00So he's talking to the Europeans about things they can do to up their game.
01:05I think he's got some pretty serious plans for China.
01:09And I encourage the president to, you know, that our bill would help him.
01:14That our bill would be, Congress would be, Blasey, giving him the authority to do what he's doing,
01:21which would help him in court.
