00:00Rail services in and out of London Euston were facing severe disruption on the morning of the 5th of June due to an incident on the tracks near Watford Junction.
00:10Rail services to Euston were suspended earlier this morning as emergency services attended the scene but have since reopened.
00:19However, passengers are being warned trains may still be severely delayed by up to 90 minutes throughout the day.
00:26National Rail said the incident is affecting passengers travelling with Avanti West Coast, London North Western Railway and Southern Railway.
00:35British Transport Police said it received a report of a casualty on the tracks near Watford Junction station, Hertfordshire at 6.04am on Wednesday 5th June.
00:46Paramedics attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:51Affected passengers are able to use tickets on some alternative routes. Road transport is also being provided in some areas.
